Editorial Policy
Our goal is to publish guides that are accurate, useful and easy to understand. Here is how we work.
Sources we use
- Primary sources first: Headway’s public Help Center, official Headway pages and announcements
- Official standards: for example the AMA CPT code set and CMS guidance
- Reputable industry publications for news and context
Every article lists its main sources at the end so readers can verify them.
Fact-checking
Before publishing, we check figures, dates, timelines and policy details against the original source. Where sources disagree or information is unclear, we say so rather than guess.
Updates and corrections
Headway’s policies and insurance rules change. We review guides regularly and update the “last updated” date when we make meaningful changes. If you spot an error, contact us. We correct confirmed mistakes promptly.
Independence
We are not affiliated with Headway and we do not accept payment for favourable coverage. Advertising is handled by Google AdSense and advertisers have no say in our content.
Use of AI tools
We may use software tools, including AI, to help research and draft content. Every article is reviewed and edited by a person, and checked against the cited sources, before it is published.
What we don’t do
- Publish login forms or ask for credentials
- Give individual medical, legal, tax or billing advice
- Present ourselves as Headway or as official Headway support
